Say “I Do” With a Pigeon Forge Wedding!

Tennessee marriage laws do require you to obtain a marriage license, however, you do not need a blood test and there is no waiting period to get your marriage certificate. Couples must be 18 years of age and provide a valid drivers license or birth certificate and your social security card. If either of the couple has been divorced or widowed, you must know the exact date the divorce was final or date of spouse’s death. If the bride had a name change through her divorce but did not get it changed on her driver’s license, then she must present a certified copy of her divorce decree. There is no blood test and no waiting period, in fact you can use your marriage license the same day it is presented. You must use your license within 30 days of being issued or it will expire.

At this time the license fee is $38.50 cash only. Couples must both appear in person at one of the following offices:
