Pigeon
Forge Shopping is a Tourist Attraction with Fantastic Savings!
Pigeon
Forge shopping is like shopping in a huge outlet mall. The Smoky
Mountain area is well known for its outlet malls and in 1996 was even
voted favorite place to shop. Since then, many more outlet stores have
been added and Pigeon Forge has grown into one of the top shopping
destination in the Southeast. The area offers discounts at more than
200 stores that carry many different types of merchandise including
designer clothes, athletic wear, luggage, crystal, housewares, home
furnishings, tools, toys and more. The area has many specialty stores
as well where you can find pottery, handmade quilts, arts and crafts,
and many souvenir shops to bring home a piece of the Smokies!
If your bargain hunting expeditions include shopping flea markets, then
Pigeon Forge is the place to be. And you will visit the areas largest
flea market when you exit off Interstate 40 to head into Pigeon Forge.
When you take exit 407, you will turn right at the first immediate road
called Dumplin Valley Road. The Great Smokies Flea Market has over 300
vendors located on 170,000 square feet. They are open on Friday,
Saturday and Sunday’s only. Much of the market is indoors and
you
won’t believe the bargains. We found many items here that we
purchased much cheaper than the stores on the Parkway.
Once
you get into the Sevierville and Pigeon Forge are, you will find
several outlet malls where you will find anything you might be looking
for at very reasonable prices. The Belz Factory Outlet World Mall is
the largest outlet mall in Pigeon Forge. The mall is located on Teaser
Lane just off the main parkway at traffic light #3.
Another Pigeon Forge shopping
outlet mall
destination is the Tanger Five Oaks Outlet Mall which is located at
1645 Parkway Sevierville, Tennessee. You can buy direct from over 100
brand name manufacturer and designer outlet stores.
Pigeon Forge shopping trips would not be complete without a visit to
Tanger Outlet Center located on Wears Valley Rd. in Pigeon Forge. Also
you will want to visit Governor's Crossing Outlet Mall located on
Collier Drive in Sevierville.
Another large outlet mall is
the Pigeon
Forge Factory Outlet Mall located right on the parkway and is known as
the “Red Roof” mall. You can’t miss it,
just look for
the red roof!
It’s
Christmas time 365 days out of the year in Pigeon Forge. There are many
Christmas shops that are open year round including the Bell Tower
Square, the largest Christmas village in the South. The Incredible
Christmas Place is home to every Christmas item that you could possibly
want. And the décor of the shops is incredible.
It’s worth
the trip just to see the beautiful decorated trees and different theme
shops.
Okay,
you’re on vacation and you have friends, family and co
workers at
home that you want to take a Smoky Mountain souvenir to. But what do
you get for everybody? Well, Pigeon Forge shopping trips must include a

A must see Pigeon Forge shopping experience is visiting the Apple Barn
and Cider Mill. This is a whole complex of shops pertaining mostly to
apples. There is great shopping and great food as well as many
interesting things to see. The complex is highlighted by the antique
apple barn which serves as a three story general store.
No matter what type of shopping you would like to do during your stay
in Pigeon Forge, you will be able to find what you are looking for and
