For the lovers of the movie “Gone with the Wind”, it is designed similar to the old southern mansions such as the Tara Plantation. The interior is decorated with the old southern lifestyle in mind including artifacts from the famous movie. The Inn has a beautiful indoor pool as well as an outdoor pool with a “Lazy River”. The service is excellent and the rates are reasonable. We highly recommend it. One of the nicer places to stay in the area is opening in June 2007, the Inn at Christmas Place. It also comes with a complimentary breakfast including an omelet station, both and indoor and outdoor pool as well as a 95 foot waterslide, and beautiful gardens with a fountain and pond.  Another of the four star Pigeon Forge motels is the Grand Resort Hotel and Convention Center. They have honeymoon suites, executive suites and lots of meeting rooms. It has the areas largest Jacuzzi, a heated pool and a five story waterfall.
