visiting the Smoky Mountains area, be sure to check out the Pigeon
Forge activities calendar to see what is happening during your stay.
There are many festivals, car shows, events, shopping sales, fairs,
parades and craft exhibits that take place throughout the year. The
Smoky Mountain towns of Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Sevierville all
have events taking place during every season, including the Winterfest,
Springfest and Harvestfest.
Some of the highlighted Pigeon Forge activities include car shows. From April through September, you can find many car shows throughout the area as Pigeon Forge is a popular host for these shows. Also the largest event in Sevierville is the Bloomin’ Barbeque & Bluegrass Festival.
In the month of May in Gatlinburg is the Gatlinburg Fine Arts Festival.
This festival has free admission. The Fourth of July is a special time
of year in the Smokies as Gatlinburg has the nation’s first 4th
of July parade with the midnight Independence Day Parade. And Pigeon Forge has its Patriot Festival. And of all the Pigeon Forge activities, the most spectacular are the Springfest, Harvestfest and Winterfest.
