The Great Smokies Flea Market is a Bargain Hunters Paradise! The
Great Smokies Flea Market is located right off exit 407 off Interstate
40. Take an immediate right after getting off the exit onto Dumplin
Valley Rd. There is over 170,000 square feet with over 300 vendor
booths in the comfort of heat and air conditioning. The flea market is
less than 15 miles before heading into Pigeon Forge. You will find
nearly anything you could possibly want at this market.
I suggest if you are coming into Pigeon
Forge on the weekend, that you might stop here first. You will find a
lot of supplies that you may need while on vacation as well as
souvenirs at much lower prices than you will find in town. The flea
market is open from 9AM to 5 PM every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

are a couple of things to remember when visiting the Flea Market. First
of all the vendors do not like to haggle on the prices. However if you
get to talking to a vendor and are serious about buying something but
not at the asking price, they will many times come down on the price to
sell it to you. Also this is a great place to do your souvenir
shopping. We bought many Smokies T Shirts here and paid much less than
we saw in the shops in Pigeon Forge. Also it’s good to know that
they have several ATM machines in the market buildings as many vendors
only take cash.
 The
place is very big. You could spend a whole day here and probably not
visit the same shop twice. They have a little bit of everything
including toys, clothing, books, collectibles, gifts, crafts, knives,
movies, jewelry, home decor, NASCAR collectibles as well as other
sports, dolls, CD’s, souvenirs, tools, gadgets, furniture, pets,
fudge and candies, and more. Most vendors sell new merchandise but for
those yard sale fanatics, you can even find many used items at great
prices.
There are a couple of restaurants including
a Geno’s Pizza and they also have restroom facilities. There is
plenty of parking and on paved lots. Wear comfortable walking shoes
because once you start looking, you’ll want to see everything and
the place is huge!
