is a Broadway style production of the story of Noah and the Ark.
However, this story has a twist. It takes place in the Smoky Mountains!
The show is set in Bee Log Holler in the Appalachian Mountains during
the Great Depression. The production features a cast of singing and
dancing animal characters as they help Noah and his family build the
Ark on stage before your eyes!
The show has impressive lighting, stage sets and special effects like, real rain, thunder, lightning and a stunning rainbow which is revealed in the final scene. The performers are very talented and they will entertain you with hilarious comedy, excellent dancing and toe tapping singing. The musical score is excellent and this show will be very entertaining for your entire family.  The
“Disney-Like” animals are a highlight in the show as they
talk, sing, and will have you rolling down the aisles with their
comedy. They help Noah and his boys build the Ark right before your
eyes in this handclapping, toe tapping and sing along Broadway
production that everyone will enjoy. The show is narrated by James
Rogers, an award winning songwriter and performer that also does a 30
minute pre show prior to the main show.
The production is produced by several companies with experience in the movie industry including George Lucas’ Industrial Light and Magic Company. My wife and I saw the show soon after it debuted in Pigeon Forge. We loved that it had a biblical background to the story and was entertained by the production. Although adults will enjoy the show, it may be geared more towards the children. I would recommend the show but it is one of those shows I wouldn’t see a second time.  Fixin2Rain
is presented at the Governor’s Palace Theater which has three
stages and seats 1,750 people. The Governor’s Palace is also home
to a show called “Come Celebrate America”. The production
celebrates America with more than 50 talented young performers. They
showcase America’s rich musical heritage.
