The Dollywood National Gospel and Harvest Celebration Renews Your Spirit
At
the Dollywood National Gospel and Harvest Celebration you will fill
your spirit with great southern gospel music by some of the countries
greatest gospel music stars. And you will do so in the beautiful Autumn
surroundings of the Smoky Mountains.
From October 5th thru November 3rd, enjoy 4
weeks of free gospel concerts including the final farewell performances
of the Crabb Family. And make a visit to the Gospel Music Hall of Fame
located in Dollywood. In addition to the soul – stirring gospel
music you can visit all the harvest decorations throughout the park
that reminds you that there is no place on Earth more beautiful than
the Smoky Mountains during the autumn season.
Here is an early schedule of some of the gospel performers in 2007:

October 12 & 13
The Crabb Family
October 5 & 6
Gold City

One
of the highlights of the harvest celebration is the many crafter's
demonstrating their skills throughout the park. Here are a few of the
craft demonstrations you can see during the festival: Rug making,
fiddle making, woodworking, apple butter making, gemstone jewelry, rope
making, stained glass, bee keeping, artists, pottery, chainsaw
woodwork, plus many other demonstrations of handcrafting that will take
you back to the days of our pioneers. Many of these artists and
crafter's will have their products for sale.
As you browse around the park amongst the
beautiful blazing fall foliage, you will be taken back to the much
simpler times of the surrounding Smoky Mountains.
