Dollywood Festival of Nations Showcases Performers from All Over the World Experience
cultures from all over the world at Dollywood Festival of Nations. This
is a six week celebration with over 200 international performers
showcasing their talents in singing, music, acrobats and dance. You
also will experience different foods from these cultures and many of
the art and handmade goods as well.
One of the most popular performances of
this event is the Moscow Circus. The show is highlighted with gymnasts,
folk musicians, clowns, contortionists, aerialists and singers. Dragon
Legend Acrobats is another popular show as young performers from China
display amazing feats of strength, agility and balance.
In the International Food Faire, you will enjoy exotic foods from many different countries. And you also can explore a world of hand crafted items at the Ten Thousand Villages Marketplace. Journey around the world without leaving
the Smoky Mountains when you enjoy this international festival that
celebrates dance, music, art and food from around the globe.

The
Australians bring an amazing sway pole act called the
“Swoon”. Using circus, dance and comedy they create an
aerial ballet on 15 foot flexible poles. You will see many different
bands and types of music from many different countries. One such band
is the Stix on Steel from Trinidad playing melodic rhythms with steel
band music.
There
are many other amazing acts and shows from different countries as well
as many types of music performed by International artists. Many
countries return year after year and there are many new acts every year
so check the schedule as the festival gets closer for a more precise
schedule of events. The festival runs through the month of April and
into the first week of May.
