Besides
all the great campgrounds in Pigeon Forge, there are ten campgrounds
located in the Smoky Mountain National Park. The camping is primitive
by design. Besides the camp sites in the woods and along the river, all
campgrounds have running water and flush toilets. There are no hookups
available in the park. Sites at Cades Cove, Elkmont and Smokemont may be reserved from May 15th to October 31st through the reservation service at 1-800-365-2267. The other seven campgrounds are first come, first serve.
