Apple Barn in Sevierville TN is located in the shadows of the most
visited national park in America, the Great Smoky Mountains! The Apple
Barn is highlighted by the over 4,000 apple trees that line the
hillsides around the premises. For over 20 years, the Apple Barn has
been a destination for tourists and locals for many reasons.The centerpiece of the Apple Barn complex is the antique barn which was built in 1910. It serves as the general store and is home to every “apple themed” item you could ever think of. There are also other country themed items and many people spend hours browsing through the incredible selection of products. The store has three levels and even has an apple cellar where fresh apples from the orchard are sold.  The
Cider Room is also popular as you can watch homemade apple cider being
made through large glass windows. You can purchase many different types
of bread, apple butter, jams, candy and cider that are made right at
the Apple Barn complex.
One thing is for sure, you can not visit
the Apple Barn in Sevierville TN without stopping by the Cider Bar. The
Cider Bar is attached to the barn and general store and offers a great
place to take a break from the sightseeing. They offer fried apple
pies, apple dumplings, ice cream, donuts, coffee and of course apple
cider. It is a tradition on our visits here to get an apple dumpling
with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. We also always take home some fried
apple pies for our family and friends. The apple cider is superb with
the frozen apple cider being a favorite of mine!
The Apple Barn in Sevierville TN is a must
stop while vacationing in the Pigeon Forge area. There is plenty to see
and you’ll want to do some serious shopping. It’s in a
beautiful surrounding along the Little Pigeon Forge River and has
plenty of good food to fill your appetite as well. Just one thing

the complex, there also is a candy factory and store. You can sometimes
watch through glass windows as home made candy is being made. And the
candy and fudge sold in the store is out of this world! There is a
winery where you can taste test different wines and take home a bottle
of your favorite. The Creamery is a fun place to stop. Here you can get
some home made ice cream in the old time ice cream parlor and antique
soda fountain. And there is a Christmas shop on the premises that has
different Christmas decorations as well as home made candles.
